EVENTS AND SIGNAGE
We will create your unique sign or installation from start to finish (conceptualize, design, produce and install). We use woodworking tools, a laser, 3D printer, CNC Router, vinyl cutter and painting techniques. We are familiar with many materials like solid wood, MDF, plywood, acrylic and metal. We enjoy combining technologies and processes ... plus a good challenge. Our small team's combined talents make us a great choice when looking for creative ideas for event planners/producers and trade shows. There's no need to hire separate designers and fabricators when you work with us. Contact us today.

Arca Continental Meeting Gift (2025)

Arca Continental is one of the most important Coca-Cola Bottlers in the world. They asked us to design a guitar keepsake for those in attendance at the Coca-Cola meeting in Austin. The final product is 22" tall and includes stickers that represent the many aspects of what "Keeps Austin Weird". We designed each sticker and when the design was complete they liked it so much they added 5 more guitars to the order, totaling 45.
To produce the guitars we used many skills and processes including the CNC router, which cut the Corafoam backs, table saw, band saw, sanders, laser engraver, cricut vinyl cutter and many hours of hand painting and placing of the vinyl. Each guitar was finished with two coats of poly and boxed up in individual boxes.

American Montessori Society Convention Timeline (2025)

Elias Events asked us to design & build a 40-foot long double-sided wall with a timeline of Montessori education in America for display at the 65th AMS Convention. We started with a concept then edited the provided information to design the timeline full-size (7' tall) in the computer. Next, we had our partners in printing print many of the elements on foam core and cut letter vinyl. We also used our laser to cut titles and engrave acrylic for stand-offs. Attendees were delighted to see many more elements included that are common Montessori education tools like red and blue rods, counting beads and metal inserts. We want to send a huge shout out to Jita Printing for most of the printing and Signarama for a last minute save!

The timeline wall includes 10, 4' panels on each side. Every two panels is a decade in AMS history, starting with Montessori's namesake, Maria.

In addition to the wall, we also built a 4' tall and 6' wide number 65. The back layer is filled with a collage of pictures from AMS history and white lights line the inside edge. The sign can be dissembled and packed flat for shipping.

Helping a Hero Key Sign (2024)

Helping a Hero holds many events to raise money for their primary purpose: building adapted homes for severely wounded veterans. We were asked to make an eye-catching sign in the shape of key that included their 100 Homes Challenge logo. Jenny had put together the logo a couple years before, so it was great fun to figure out how to laser cut, paint and assemble in real life. We used a light-weight Corafoam for the key, making it easy to disassemble for travel. The logos on the key are made with plywood, laser cutting and CNC router cutting. All the pieces were hand-painted, including some amazing air brush work on the Bass Pro fish by J.D.

Lombardi Award 5-sided display (2024 & 2023)

We have worked with the Rotary Club of Houston since 2012 to design the program and other graphics for the Lombardi Award. In 2023 - their 50th year - we were asked to figure out how to display the winner, program covers and colored helmets for all the years before. J.D. built walls that could be assembled on-site and Jenny designed the graphics.
This is a great example of the client coming to us with an idea and, using our combined talents, we made it work. As of 2025, we have assembled the display three times at different events and it is always an impressive focal point.

Ballymore Event (2025)

Elias Events asked us to design & build a 4' wide ships wheel and menu signs. The wheel is painted solid wood with turned handles and spindles. The menu signs are multilayered laser engraved and cut with a slotted base. The food looks yummy!

Priority Pet Care Sign (2024)

Priority Pet Care of the Ozarks asked us to design their logo and make a sign to welcome clients to their office. They wanted to honor their beloved Beagle in the logo and for the sign to be a showstopper. To build the sign we used a variety of techniques and materials. The central dog is solid wood intarsia, cut with power tools and shaped by hand. The words were CNC router cut in Corafoam and the additional animals around the edge were laser cut. As with all our projects, we also delivered and installed the sign.

National Theater (2025)

Historic National Theater on America's largest downtown square in Graham, TX needed some updated movie poster cases and times/ratings display sign. We provided cases that are lighted from the inside and easy to open to switch out posters. They can also switch out the red sign at the top (Coming Soon, Now Showing or This Friday). The cases are made of mdf with a solid wood frame and metal inserts for the logo at the top.

The ratings sign has a solid wood frame and letter boards and ratings that pop out from the back for easy updates.

Arca Continental Event (2023)

We were asked by Elias Events to make several signs for an event at the Coca-Cola bottler, Arca Continental. We built and installed a rustic entry sign from wood, AC logo sign for behind the stage, two 4-foot wide wagon wheels, 5-foot tall Coca-Cola bottles and two round signs with the Arca Continental logo. We used a variety of tools like the laser, CNC router, paint sprayer, and wood working tools. J.D. also installed all pieces at the event space.

AmSty Trade Show Signs (2024)

AmSty, makers of polystyrene, needed some eye-catching pieces for their booth at the plastics trade show in Orlando. Elias Events asked us to design and build a large kinetic art piece that represents the chemical formula for polystyrene and made a logo sign. This project involved laser cutting, CNC routing, 3D printing, woodworking and painting, not to mention a whole lot of problem solving.

The items were packaged and brought to Orlando as a checked bag when J.D. traveled to install. He also traveled back a week later to dissembled and ship back to Houston. He then permanently installed the kinetic piece at AmSty's Houston area offices.
