Our motto is ... "We'll figure it out"

Hi, We are J.D. & Jenny Gunter. We have always enjoyed making things... even before we met and fell in love at art school at the Kansas City Art Institute. The art institute taught creativity first. Therefore, we love to try new projects and processes, constantly expanding our talents and tools.

Jenny has been a freelance graphic designer since 2005. She has built a business with an emphasis on customer service and quality outcomes. She has worked on a wide range of projects including logos, brochures, programs, invitations, announcements, book layouts and signage. She has also built relationships with writers, proofreaders, printers, photographers, translators and web specialists.

When J.D. joined Gunter Creative full time in 2023, we were able to add his skills in the shop (woodworking, CNC routing, 3D printing, laser engraving) to our available tools.

 

As a small team with many talents, we produce numerous creative projects in house. There's no need to use a large agency or engage separate designers and fabricators. We can do a lot (concept, design, build, paint, installation) with much less overhead.

We also run two successful etsy shops, emphasizing laser and CNC router made books, ornaments and trays made from wood and leather.
