The covers are made of solid black walnut that was hand-sanded and finished with a glossy polyurethane. It also features decorative paper that was hand printed from a hand carved linoleum block. The binding method is called a caterpillar stitch which makes for a very interesting and unique look. Inside paper is hand-torn strathmore drawing paper.
